How it works
The Torpedo Hitch concept is a very simple, reliable, and effective way to hook up any trailed implements.
Eliminating 10–15 minutes of backing, repositioning and reconnecting — four to six times per day — can return up to 90 minutes to your operation every day. Across an entire seeding or application season, those minutes can add up to days of additional field time.
Backing large seeders and applicators toward trailed equipment can be dangerous because of limited visibility and maneuverability. The Torpedo Hitch reduces reliance on spotters while helping prevent injuries and costly equipment damage.
Bring the implement to the hitch instead of wrestling with heavy hitch tongues. The Torpedo Hitch reduces bending, lifting, pulling and repositioning — helping minimize fatigue and the risk of back injury. It also makes connecting equipment significantly easier for operators with back problems, limited mobility or physical disabilities.

The Anderson Torpedo Hitch was invented by Kevin Anderson in the mid 1980's. Kevin was a small grain farmer trying to get his start during a challenging Agricultural climate. He knew that in order to make money he needed to be very effective during the short window of seeding and fertilizer application. Realizing how much time was wasted in hooking up to Anhydrous tanks for fertilizer he needed a better solution. His idea was the Torpedo Hitch — a simple concept that is extremely effective and has helped 1,000's of farmers hook up faster, safer, and get more ground covered every year.
